B&B Courses at Ardlogie

Elaine and Richard at Ardlogie have designed a practical, hands on 2 day course on the day to day running of a B&B or small guest house. We provide accommodation, all course materials and an information pack full of hints & tips to take away with you. We can help you achieve your dream !

Whilst there are a number of guides or books available, we are offering practical advice and training whilst you stay with us in our successful guest house in the fantastic surroundings of Aviemore and the Cairngorms National Park. You will leave with a better understanding of what's involved, what makes a successful B&B, common pitfalls to avoid and better able to make an informed decision on whether this is the life for you.

What makes our course different is it's practical hands on approach.

Running a B&B can be an excellent business opportunity, but there are many pitfalls, competition is fierce and mistakes costly, in both money and time. More and more discerning people are turning away from hotels to use quality bed and breakfast accommodation creating a strong and continuing market for this type of accommodation.

The course is led by Elaine (who is a qualified and experience adult trainer) and is residential, requiring a minimum of 2 nights accommodation, although if you have a long way to travel then 3 nights will be more comfortable for you.

These prices are for 2 people and include all course materials and accommodation – please call for single prices.

We recommend that both/all parties involved in the purchase and running of a B&B attend our course. If you are being made redundant or taking early retirement and your company operates a retraining scheme, then we are happy to provide separate bills for accommodation and training, or as required.
